How to create 3D surface from points using Micromine

Its pretty easy to create a 3D surface from 3D points on Micromine 2013. On this Micromine tutorial, I am going to show you how to create a simple 3D surface from points. The points we used on this tutorial has the elevation on each point. See how to do it.

This is the 3D points we want to convert to 3D surface/wireframe

And this is the data for the points. Each points has its own elevation

OK. Now, go to DTM | Create Surface

Specify the source file on the Input file. Don’t forget to manually adjust the X, Y and Z field. Next, switch to Output Wireframe tab and give name for the wireframe.

Press Run to start the process.

Now load the new wireframe using Wireframe Vizex menu
