How to export data to text file on Micromine

This basic Micromine tutorial will show you how to export a Micromine file into text file (.txt). Micromine can export to a comma, tab and space delimited text file. We can then use this text file on another GIS software such as MapInfo, etc. 

In order to export Micromine data file to text file, please follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to File | Export | Text

Step 2. Enter or browse the source data file by double clicking the "File" text box. Don't forget to select the Type of the Micromine file.

Step 3. Select the output file format. You can select the delimited format from the drop down list. Type or browse the output file path as well. I suggest you to add the .txt extension on the filename for easier to read in other software.

Step 4. Press Run and in few moments the file should be successfully exported to .txt file.
