How to register or georeference an image in Micromine

This Micromine tutorial is going to show you how to register or georeference image in Micromine 2012. When an image was registered, we can display it on Vizex and overlay the image with other georeference database, easier to digitize and many more. 

In order to register image in Micromine, follow these steps:

Step 1. Double click Image on the Vizex menu

Step 2. After the Image window opened, click the browse button to select the image you want to register.

Step 3. Click Georeference button to display the image and prepare to define the known coordinates for the image to register.

Step 4. Click the image which has easting and northing value. Enter the value on the text box below the image (Coordinate X and Coordinate Y). Repeat the step until you have 3 different points. Do not put the points too close each other. 

Once finished, the image will be displayed on Vizex as a registered image.
