How to create new data file on Micromine 11

This Free GIS Tutorial will show you how to create a new data file on Micromine 11. Micromine supports several data types such as Data, String, Outline and Macro and Survey. Here I will show you to create new data file first.

To create a new file in Micromine, do the following

1. Go to File | New

2. Give the new file a unique name. Select Data from the Type. Press OK

3. Type the field name. This will become the column title on your database. Type C or N on the Type. C represent Character and N is number. Width is the maximum character that can be stored to each field. Type the decimals for the each N type column. If you leave it blank, then there will no decimal number shown on the field.  

Press save and press Exit button and Press Yes to confirm.

Now we can start entry the data on the table.
