How to import Mapinfo TAB file to Micromine 11

How to import Mapinfo TAB file to Micromine 11

This GIS tutorial will show you how to import a Mapinfo TAB file into Micromine 11. This is a good feature of Micromine where we can easily import data from other GIS file format including Mapinfo TAB. The MI file then will be saved to Micromine native file.

Micromine can save Mapinfo Tab file into Data (.DAT) file or String file (.STR). The data file usually stores points objects and string file will import the lines, poly line and polygon. We need to select the Micromine file type when importing Mapinfo table.
